Discover with Dynamo

The Dystonia patient campaign required the development of an engaging character that would help communicate and educate pediatric patients and their families on the new Medtronic DBS Percept portfolio in a unique and reassuring way. The toolkit would enable HCPs to tackle difficult topics around the use of the DBS technology, anticipate patient and family concerns and be endorsed by Dystonia Europe – whom this initiative was developed in partnership with.

Pediatric Dystonia Percept™ RC

The character ‘Dynamo’ the dinosaur was born. We use their story about living with Dystonia and their journey towards receiving a DBS Neurostimulator, and life thereafter to answer commonly asked questions or concerns. Alongside Dynamo, we created other characters as part of the story and selected a style that is more suited for the age group in question.

The initiative was created in conjunction with Dystonia Europe who would support the continued development and utilization of the materials.

Materials created: Social media campaign, Educational toolkit, Colouring pages.

Although graphic design is my main role, I really enjoyed working on this project because illustration is something I genuinely love. The subject matter meant a lot to me, and I feel proud knowing that my drawings are contributing to such an important cause.
